There's only a couple I step into when they come across my desk - both are cases where people are attempting to regulate pagan/magical "acceptable" behaviour based on their (or human) rules of conduct.
Discussion got quite busy in one, and I hope to drop some proof to those people now that the worst of my house renovations are out of the way, and my moving boxes are no longer under piles of joinery filled with nails.

but people do want burden of proof for silly things. I mentioned the sexual discrimination in Alexanderian Craft, thinking it was wide enough known and something many people had access to look up if they could be bothered.... but that wasn't the point of the comment... it was whether or not such a "secret society" could be allowed to dictate rules of fair conduct to others.

the group completely overlooked the "dictating rules" aspect (the whole topic of the group) and whether or not having such rules could be overridden by dictate of The Council (tm); especially given that same Trad gives autonomy to it's hived off sub-groups.
The group just could not get past whether or not such discrimination existed !

I suppose I should have chosen the Gardnerians as their Ordains are more publicly available. But I was getting other triggers from spirit that correspond to completely other purposes, so follow through on the spirit stuff and said my Adieu. I'll look up the references when I get time (aka "can be bothered" to go through my BoS'smisthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04641126566007053191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5754601570054361358.post-47788284595307109762015-04-13T17:55:05.124+10:002015-04-13T17:55:05.124+10:00Sometimes all I can do it stare blankly at my scre...Sometimes all I can do it stare blankly at my screen in disbelief. I used to try to be helpful, sometimes I still do, if it's someone I haven't previously had a run in with.

But as my mission in life is to encourage people to think for themselves, I have more of a tendency to ask leading questions, which unfortunately has been called trolling, condescending, taking the piss and just being a bitch.Debbie Dawsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05165633698868069538noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5754601570054361358.post-8144097447947971132015-04-13T17:52:00.842+10:002015-04-13T17:52:00.842+10:00Don't be all negative and unpagan :p

While this is indeed part of my path and duty I believe it falls within the realms of justice. You have done what justice demands (provide a fair answer, which was little effort). But it is not up to you to explain yourself, or see that they believe or improve their lives... but likewise they can place no blame to you, as you provided what you could, and the choice was entirely theirs.misthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04641126566007053191noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5754601570054361358.post-48591286129767551122015-04-13T17:39:35.845+10:002015-04-13T17:39:35.845+10:00only read the start so far.
Smell sulphur then you...only read the start so far.
Smell sulphur then you need salt for a circle and round the doors ! Why? Because "Supernatural" is an awesome cool frickkin' TV program, that's why.

Butt really? yeah there's a lot of sulphur in foods, and even pet foods. Get a digestive fault and you can get sulphur :) My best mates dog used to be powerful "demonic" when he'd been eating mutton. Especially in his caravan where they both slept.

Generally the "sulphur" smell is dihydrogen sulphide H2S, and is a normal byproduct of anaerobic (without oxygen) bacteria breaking down proteins, the H2S is a byproduct of the reaction. You can also get H2S by heating up sulphur, or by passing water through it, the more heat energy the more H2S you'll make. Bad thing about "the sulphur smell" is that it anesthetizes the nerves so while you can smell it you're pretty safe it's at a low concentration, when you can't smell it then it could be at lethal concentrations. Also if it's from bacterial activity there could be more dangerous gases and bacteria around so pays to play it clean. misthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04641126566007053191noreply@blogger.com
